We are so impressed by this super, SweatStyle devotee! Courtney is a busy woman balancing being a mother, a wife, a yoga instructor AND works full-time in research and development at a biotech company. WOAH. We caught up with Courtney and spoke all things SweatStyle, fitness, health, and Courtney's self-love approach to it all.
What are some of your favorite brands you've discovered in your SweatStyle box?
I've loved so many pieces but my favorite go-tos are my strappy black Free People sports bra, my black "Strut This" crop top, and my white/gray marble Noli yoga leggings.
What workout are you into right now?
I've been doing Kayla Itsines BBG for over 2 years. I love the high intensity of the workouts and they're quick so they fit with my life. I've started lifting weights and have been doing this 3-4 times per week. Something about lifting weights just makes you feel like a badass. I'm also a yoga instructor so I try to practice 2-3 times a week.
What is your biggest inspiration or motivation?
When I first started my journey into fitness post-baby, I drew inspiration from photos on Instagram of other mamas who had transformed their bodies. At this point, I was fully motivated by my closet of pre-baby clothes. As I've progressed, my mental shift has been huge. I've realized that health and fitness is more about taking care of and loving my body, embracing my imperfections, and striving for health and happiness than it is about looking a certain way.

Any secret workout tips?
The biggest thing is consistency and time management! Schedule your workouts and treat them like meetings. Also, set aside time each week to plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks. Also, be kind to yourself. Recognize you are not perfect. You will miss workouts. You will eat bad food. Don’t start over. Just pick right back up where you left off and keep going. This is a lifestyle. You have to live your life. It’s enough, you’re enough.
